I love Ira Glass and not just because he is the master mind to arguably the best radio program out there and not because that program happens to be broadcasted from my home town and not because hours and hours of my life are filled with sixty minute themed stories produced by This American Life, it's because of all that and that he says this like this...

It's statements like this, that are so depressingly hopefully, that validate my entire existence.  Although it must be wildly unprofessional to call myself a beginner or my work disappointing, I am not the type of person to be blind to such truths.  While I have artistic experience that does not mean I am artistically satisfied.  I feel there is a gap in my life, between the work I create and the work I want to create.  But what Ira is telling me is that that is okay, time is on my side, all I need to do is use this divide as motivation and as inspiration.  Continue to develop my good taste, foster my potential and never give up on my artistry.  Simply put, Ira is telling me to keep on keeping on!  So here my friends is the perfect example of this, you're looking at it...my online portfolio.  I was under the impression that to further my professional career I needed to get myself some nifty looking business cards, but what I discovered was before I can do that I need to get myself a nifty looking website.  Setting out on this task, knowing next to nothing about html or computer coding or even graphic design,  I found myself purchasing a web domain for a blog.  I know what you are thinking, a blog? That's not really the proper space for a portfolio.  Well to that I say this, I know what I know and I'm the guy who'll decide where to go.  So please use the tabs above to see some of my photography and a link to some of my films.  Check back for updates because as Ira mentioned I got to do a lot of work, of which I'll display here! On my blog...
